I would say Fort Aspenwood would resemble a pretty DOTAish Guild Wars, but since Fort Aspenwood is one team defend, one team attack, so it ain't 100% DOTA.
For something like a Guild Wars DOTA, it would require 2 Fortress, 3 different paths, with multiple stages of towers that can be destroyed, and the 3 lanes will have NPCs from both sides doing skirmishes.
And I believe real time joining into the battle must be implemented in order for this to function properly. Something like 12 vs 12 ought to be nice, 4 players per lane, or can call for a coordinated strike to hit a lane real hard.

Are you asking for a Guild Wars mod in which players would have to start at level 1 and work up to level "whatever" at a very quick pace by fighting each other and computer controlled monsters at the same time in an effort to breach the enemy team's town and destroy it? Sounds like it would be a lot more fun on the Guild Wars engine than the Frozen Throne engine.
I like the idea. /signed
Would definitely be PvP I'd be interested in. Right now, the only PvP I do is Random Arenas with an Illusionary Weaponry Mesmer because every other type of PvP I find boring. Well, I take that back. HoH and Team Arenas can be fun too, but for those, you actually have to do some planning and you need to have a team you know is at least decent. Random Teams just don't work out well in either of those places and it's been a while since I've had enough players on my friends list for those.

It would be great if Anet made some more elaborate PvP battles and functions which worked simular to DOTA, it used to be a passtime of mine before I got into GW, and a simular PvP setup would be very interesting.
It would have to be scaled for more tactical combat and less hack+slash on all the massed spawn units, but a very simular setup would be awsome, with forts on either side, seige weapon at certain points, stuff of that nature, all good and fun.

The main characteristics of DOTA or...AoS as I like to call it:
- You get NPCs that constantly spawning and march onto the battlefield
- You can level up
- You can buy item and equipments
- Item/equipment combos
